Mr. Amos is the managing partner for . . .

the firm's St. Petersburg and Ft. Myers offices. He devotes most of his practice to insurance defense litigation, but he also handles the firm's guardianships, estates and cases involving minors.

Reputation and dedication have allowed Mr. Amos to

make the St. Petersburg office a huge success for the firm. After numerous requests and comments from clients to open a Ft. Myers' office, the firm expanded its success into southwest Florida where Mr. Amos and the firm's associates and staff will successfully defend insureds and insurers in cases involving construction and design defect, motor vehicle negligence, commercial motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, bad faith, malicious prosecution, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment, nuisance and first party coverage lawsuits.

In addition to defending insureds . . .

insurers rely on Mr. Amos' expertise with settling bodily injury claims for incapacitated persons, estates and minors. Mr. Amos has handled the most complicated cases in obtaining settlements with binding releases for insureds and insurers alike. These cases require a superior knowledge of potential conflicts when a lawyer is hired by a tortfeasor's insurance company to set up a guardianship and obtain a binding release on behalf of the claimant ward, or set up an estate to obtain a binding release on behalf of the claimant estate and it's beneficiaries. Additionally, Mr. Amos' litigation skills and knowledge of the estate and guardianship laws provide him expertise to litigate complex and difficult probate and estate cases where he represents clients in pursuing removals of guardians and personal representatives.

Mr. Amos is a member of . . .

the Florida Bar Association, St. Petersburg Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyer's Association and United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
